Hotel glitches

So I chose hotel locations near or in the Old Towns we were visiting.  I secured maps from the bus stations to the hotels.  All were in reasonable distance.  But I forgot that Old Towns are not exactly accessible.  At Mostar we had to cross the Stari Most to get to our hotel.  The bridge is paved with boulders and crossed with stone steps for footing.  Not easy to drag a rolling bag across. The hotel in Dubrovnik was down a steep flight of stairs from where the taxi left us.  And the hotel is up two flights of steps that could be in Queens for heaven sake! Both would have been more accessible if we knew the right path.  Jim was not a happy camper.  But we survived.  We will see what we have in Kotor!
