Bunker
The former communist dictator, Hoxha, who closed the borders of Albania in 1967, and declared it to be an atheist country, built 400,000 of these bunkers throughout the country. They were intended to protect Albania from being taken over by foreigners ever again. The cost of 2 of these would have built a Soviet style apartment. They were used only for training.

Cathedral of St. Clement, Ohrid
Built on the site of an original Bysantine church, changed to a mosque during the Ottoman era. Some original frescos are still visible.
